Training for a thriving industry

The UK food and drink manufacturing sector is thriving. We have an annual turnover of £77 billion, achieve exports of almost £14 billion and generate £22.6 billion in goods and services – that’s more than any other UK manufacturing sector. But it’s only by investing in future skills that we can maintain our position and contribute so much to the economy.

There are an estimated 385,400 people employed in the food and drink manufacturing and processing industry across Great Britain with a further 21,800 employed in Northern Ireland – and we have a course or qualification that could improve the skills and knowledge of every single one of them.
