Welsh training company Network Training Services, a founder member of the consortium Vocational Skills Partnership (Wales) Ltd delivering work-based learning for the Welsh Government, is the latest specialist food industry training company to join the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink.
Network Training, based in Neath & Port Talbot, operates throughout South and West Wales and has worked for a wide range of high profile food manufacturers including A. G. Barr, Greggs, Finsbury Foods, Tillery Valley Foods and Dunbia. Recent activity includes supporting 120 food and drink apprenticeships for Welsh businesses.
“We are delighted to welcome Network Training Services to the Academy’s roster of quality-vetted training companies around the UK,” said Justine Fosh, Executive Director of the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink.
“Their expertise and track record yet again underlines the Academy’s value to food and drink manufacturers as the dedicated gateway to specialist industry training.”
Network Training Services have developed wide-ranging knowledge of food and drink manufacturing, including bread and baked products, butchery, soft drinks, meat and frozen meals, in over 20 years of operation.
“We are a long established company and all our staff have relevant industry experience,” said Operation Director Nigel Goodridge. “As a successful training company, we relish the new opportunities the Academy brings to support further development of food and drink skills and the growth of food and drink businesses in Wales and beyond.”
